Hootclock Dome

At the top of the spiral stair, a brass telescope points through an open dome of stars while Ticktock, Erasmus's clockwork owl, keeps watch from a stack of globes. Anyone may spin here without signing up, and an empty paid spin leaves every Moonscope Badge right where it landed.

About this world

Hootclock Dome

Hootclock Dome is the room Erasmus leaves unlocked for every visitor, so the owl starts ticking the moment you arrive. Of the three rooms, this one runs softest: Starpin Charts, Star Sextants and Moon Orbs keep small returns turning up, while the Clockwork Planets and Ticktock Owl hold the bigger lines. The Moonscope Badge wild can be any instrument but the Comet Prism. Whenever a paid spin pays nothing, Erasmus pins any badges in view to the velvet and gives each other square one more free turn. Comet Prisms open the free round from anywhere on the grid: ten spins for three of them, fifteen for four, twenty-five for five, and prisms landing mid-round add more.

Dome Shutter Hold. A paid spin without a win leaves every Moonscope Badge wild pinned to its square, and Erasmus respins all the unpinned squares once for nothing.

The honest part

Coins in the cabinet, nothing else

Each room here spins on free virtual coins alone. None of it is real-money gambling, no win has real-world value, and there are no in-app purchases. A random number generator settles every result, and no spin sways the next.

Measured by running this page's own engine for 10,000,000 spins: coin RTP 97.1%, hit frequency 42.4%, free spins about once in 117 spins, a win of 10x your stake or more about once in 101 spins. Coin figures only — no money is staked or returned.

How to play

Hootclock Dome in three steps

1

Open the page and play coins are already laid out on the velvet. Nobody asks your name, no form appears and no app store is involved.

2

Pick a stake and press spin. The Moonscope Badge wild stands in for every instrument except the Comet Prism, and on a blank paid spin the badges stay pinned to the velvet as Erasmus gives all the unpinned squares one more free turn.

3

Three Comet Prisms anywhere unlock ten free spins under the dome; four prisms unlock fifteen, five unlock twenty-five.

Who it suits

First-time visitors to the cabinet, and anyone who wants a look round before signing the visitors book. The calmest room on the lane.

What to expect

Frequent small returns on paid spins, with Dome Shutter Hold softening the quiet ones. The larger moments come in the free round.

Where the lane runs out at the seafront, a pastel carousel turns on the pier in the afternoon sun, mint horses rising under pink pennants while gulls wheel overhead. Every win in its free round is paid twice.

In the back room of the cabinet, painted clouds, a crescent moon and a turreted castle are lowered on ropes over cardboard waves while a crowned marionette swan glides across the stage. Winning symbols are hauled away, new scenery drops in and each fresh drop pays more.
